Are your customers really as happy and loyal as you think they are?

Losing a customer can be painful.   You lose a source of steady revenue and potential referrals.  And you have to spend hundreds of dollars finding a replacement.

So give your customers a quick call over this winter and ask them how your company is doing.  

A great question to ask is "How are we doing in taking care of your needs?"   You can also ask "What could we be doing to make your life easier or make your landscape look even better?"

You will find that customers will appreciate your care and concern.  And if they do need an additional service, it gives them a great opportunity to tell you directly about their need. 

Don't be afraid to leave a voice message or send an e-mail if you can't reach the customer in person.  But remember that a personal phone call is unbeatable in building your relationship.

A few minutes this winter can have a big impact on customer loyalty and satisfaction in 2012.
